Bandstra Gelderloos, Geraldine

Geraldine Bandstra Gelderloos, age 89 of Grand Rapids, formerly of Holland went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 17, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Theodore Bandstra and Alfred Gelderloos, and a son Ronald Keith Bandstra.
She is survived by her children; Trudy and Don Timmer of Grand Haven, Ted and Emmalee Bandstra of Miami, FL, Richard and Cynthia Bandstra of Grand Rapids, Larry and Monica Bandstra of Charlotte, NC, Joy and Charles Tull of Eddington, ME; Nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; Gelderloos children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; Brothers and sisters; Cornelius Roeda, Shirley and Jack Van Bruggen,  Jack and Rachel Roeda.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm Monday, December 27, 2010 in the Chapel at Raybrook Manor, 2121 Raybrook, SE Grand Rapids, MI 49546.  The Reverends Chad Steenwyk and Dan Roeda will officiate with  Carol Bandstra Haan playing the organ.  Visitation with the family will begin at 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Lansing, IL.  Memorial contributions may be given to the Holland Home-Raybrook Manor.  An online registry is available at www.langelandsterenberg.com.

  2. I am sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I loved Aunt Jerry evern though I never was able to see her once I was older. I have fond memories of visiting your house in South Holland. I mostly remember when you lived in the basement. I remember your mom as a kind, hardworking woman. My mother loved her like a sister and spoke to me of the good times they had especially when the both lived in Holland together. My deepest sympathy for your loss.
