Brandon Jay DeJonge Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Brandon Jay DeJonge, 25, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, formerly of Zeeland passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021. Brandon was born April 16, 1996, in Holland, to Kurt and Carol (Kaashoek) DeJonge. He went to Zeeland Christian School through eighth grade and graduated from Zeeland East High School in 2014. Throughout his entire life he enjoyed golfing with family and friends. As he grew up, his love for computers and building his own websites began to grow. Brandon attended college at Indiana Tech where he studied web development and was a member of the bowling team. During his first year he met Breanna Post and after graduating they married on September 23, 2018. They lived and worked in Fort Wayne, and Brandon was working in web development for the Tippmann Group. Brandon and Breanna enjoyed spending time with their dog named Zeus. He is survived by his wife, Breanna, his parents Kurt and Carol DeJonge of Zeeland, brother Tyler DeJonge of Fort Wayne, IN, parents-in-law Jerry and Cindi Post, grandparents: Carl and Sharon DeJonge, Robert and Carlene Kaashoek; grandmother-in-law Patricia Cooke, and many extended family and friends. Thank you for the excellent care and support provided by the staff of Fort Wayne Medical Oncology, and Visiting Nurse (especially Nan and Tina). A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, June 4, 2021, at Ridge Point Community Church, 340 104th Ave., Holland MI 49423. Visitation will be 5-8 pm, Thursday, at the Yntema Funeral home, 251 S. State Street, Zeeland MI 49464. Interment will be in Zeeland Cemetery.
