Carol Brammer

Carol Brammer, age 86, of Holland, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Vicinia Gardens Nursing Home in Otsego. Everyone who knew Carol described her as a sweet lady who was very easy going. She was liked by many and loved well. Carol was a member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, and formerly attended Zion Lutheran Church. Her faith was very important to her. She worked for over 20 years as a secretary at Worden furniture company and retired in 1998. She will be dearly missed. Carol was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Novota, in 1997, and her second husband, Dick Brammer, in 2016. She was also preceded in passing by her brother Robert (Judy), and sister, Shirley. She is survived by her daughters: Kathie (Greg) Vulcan, Chris Nevius; step-children: Rick (Lisa) Brammer, Doug (Missy) Brammer, Steve (Loyce) Brammer, Sandy (Bill) Barr, Susie (Brad) Banker; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate Carol’s life will take place at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St., Holland. Visitation will be held prior from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to The Medical Team Hospice of Grand Rapids. www.langelandsterenberg.com.
