James Rabbers, Jr. age 92, of Holland, went to be with his heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven in 1958. He was a member of Immanuel Church and served in the National Guards. James was a professional truck driver and retired from Gra-Bell Truck Lines. He loved to garden and do wood working, and operated a vegetable stand in Maplewood for many years. James is survived by his wife of 71 years, Ruth; Sons, Jerry Rabbers of Zephyrhills, Fl., David and Carol Rabbers of Hamilton; daughter-in-law, Wanda Rabbers of Battle Creek; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth and Ruth Rabbers of Holland. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 22, 2021 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland with Revs. Alyn Goossen and Robert Terpstra officiating. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, November 21, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Church Missions or Hospice of Holland.
