Lois Kane

January 25, 1928 - December 2, 2021

Lois (Bok) Kane, 93 of Holland passed away on December 2, 2021. Lois was born in Forest Grove and graduated from Zeeland High. Lois was married to Alfred Kane for almost 69 years until his passing in 2018. Together Alfred and Lois were partners in raising six kids and running a successful construction company. Lois was a loving wife, mother and grandmother that liked to bake sweets for family and friends. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, knitting, and quilting. She was one of the founding members of the First Presbyterian Church. Lois was preceded in death by her sisters Rose Bos and Edna Wagner. She is survived by her children: Kerry (Pat) Kane, Conda Kane, Chad (Dee) Kane, Brad (Jeanne) Kane, Sara (Bob) Kane-Smart, and Lon (Karen) Kane; grandchildren: Lindsey (Nate) Myers, Tyler (Heather) Kane, Elisabeth (Joe) Hammond, Benjamin Smart, Allison Smart, Kameron Kane, and Eli Kane; great-grandchildren: Bella, Tristan, and Max; her brother, John Bok. The visitation and celebration of Lois Kane's life will be Saturday, December 11, 2021, from 10 am to 12 pm at First Presbyterian Church located at 659 State Street, Holland.
