Margaret J Branderhorst

Margaret Branderhorst, age 89, of Holland, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Resthaven Care Center. Margaret was born in The Netherlands and lived in Prairie City, IA until 1968 when she moved to Kalamazoo. She moved to Holland in 1991. Margaret was a member of Pine Creek Christian Reformed Church and South Olive Christian Reformed Church, she was also a volunteer for Bibles for Mexico. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Cornie Branderhorst in 1992; brother, Herman Bosker; as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law. Margaret is survived by her: Children Mary (David) Pfruender of Kentwood Gary (Sechan) Branderhorst of Holland Henry (Wendy) Branderhorst of Holland John (Kendra) Branderhorst of Rocklin, CA Grandchildren John Branderhorst Michelle (Jeremy) Bollman Mark (Savong) Branderhorst James Branderhorst Beth (Brian) Ponstein Katrina (Kyle)Bultman Ruthie (Tim) Hoving Martha (Jeffrey) Godfrey Leah Branderhorst Kelsey Branderhorst Kevin Branderhorst Kyle Branderhorst Kaleb Branderhorst 10 Great grandchildren In-laws Mrs. Herman (Marry) Bosker of The Netherlands Mrs. Gerrit (Corrie) Branderhorst of Canada Mrs. Pieter (Ria) Branderhorst of Pella, IA Henk Van Giessen of Canada Dorothy De Vries of Canada Bert Branderhorst of Canada John (Pieta) Branderhorst of Canada Wilma (Lou) Kodde of Canada Annie (Dave) Koning of Canada Many nieces and nephews. Funeral services are planned for 10:00am Saturday, December 19 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E 16th St., with Rev. Leigh Van Kempen officiating. Burial will be in Grand Prairie Cemetery in Kalamazoo. Visitation is scheduled for 6-8pm Friday, December 18 also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Bibles for Mexico and Resthaven Care Community.
