Maria Magallan Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Maria Magallan, age 97, of Holland, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Maria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother. She had a smile that could brighten anyone's day and her heart was full of compassion for those in her life. For 25 years, Maria worked for HJ Heinz. She and her husband, Guadalupe Magallan raised their family with a wealth of love and respect. Maria was a teacher at heart and shared lessons she learned with her family. She was also an excellent cook and loved to dance. Maria will be deeply missed by those who survive, including, her children: Janie and F.O. Hernandez, Cristina and Doug Ivey, Lydia Magallan, and Juan and Marilyn Magallan; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many extended family and friends. Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Magallan in 2011, and son, Eduardo Magallan in 2008. Funeral services will be at 1:30pm on Friday, June 4, 2021 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 171 W 13th St, Holland, MI 49423. Memorial contributions are to Alzheimer Association.
