Marjorie Busscher

February 8, 1932 - January 18, 2022

Marjorie Busscher (nee Stegink) age 89, of Graafschap, passed peacefully into her Savior's arms on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Marge had limitless energy when it came to serving her family. In addition to raising eight children, she worked for many years as a nurse's aide. In her retirement years she wintered in Florida and enjoyed traveling, fishing, and playing shuffleboard and bocce with her husband. She had a special way with kids and loved babysitting her grandchildren. Her legacy includes a strong Christian faith, warm hospitality, and an enthusiastic work ethic. Marge was a very active member of Graafschap Christian Reformed Church. Marge joins her husband of 62 years, Howard Busscher, and their son Paul in heaven. She is survived by her: Children Chuck and Kathy Busscher of Holland Allen and Mary Jo Busscher of Holland Cal and Vicki Busscher of Holland Rev. Jim and Brenda Busscher of DeMotte, IN Phil Busscher of Holland Jan and Mike Redder of Zeeland Randy and Brenda Busscher of Holland 27 grandchildren 39 great grandchildren Sister Irene Tinholt of Holland In-laws Mildred Lubbers Leona and Jerry Genzink Mel and Sandy Busscher Roger and Eileen Busscher, all of Holland Ron Hamelink of Lansing Many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:30am Monday, January 24, 2022 at Graafschap Christian Reformed Church, 5973 Church St. Holland, with Rev. James Busscher and Rev. Philip Kok officiating. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00pm Sunday, January 23 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E 16th St., Holland, and from 10:00-11:00am Monday at the church prior to the service.
