Phyllis Mahy
February 24, 1929 - June 18, 2021
Phyllis S. Mahy, age 92, of Holland, formerly of England, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021, at Resthaven Maple Woods Assisted Living Center. Phyllis was a member of Third Reformed Church. She was an amazing mother, and a resilient, gracious lady who survived the bombing of her hometown in England during WWII and several accidents and episodes of ill health over her lifetime, but she never let it bring her down. She was preceded in death by her husband; Harold Mahy, daughter; Kim Barnes, and siblings; John Eckett and Evelyn Winn, both of England. Phyllis is survived by her daughter; Beverley (Michael) Rannow, grandchildren; Christopher (Carrie) Rannow, Matthew (Bridgette) Rannow, Rebecca, Erika, Ryan, and Patrick, great grandchildren; Chloe, Caleb, Josiah, Tyler, and Alex, and sister; Margaret Standerline, of England. A family committal service is being planned for September of 2021. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland or Resthaven Maple Woods.
