Phyllis Petroelje age 93, of Holland, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 24, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald in 2010. Phyllis was a member of Bethany Christian Reformed Church and a 1945 graduate of Holland Christian High School. She is survived by her children, Jane and Harris Overway, Nancy and Dan Brower, Debra and Keith Brandsen; 9 grandchildren, Rob and Robin Overway, Julie and Dennis Aukema, Jennifer and Scott Mokma, Sarah and Josh Zuidema, Beth and Tim Voss, Joe and Nelly Brower, Kate and Glenn Van Otteren, Heather and Nate Niewiek, Nathan and Halley Brandsen; 22 great grandchildren; sister-in-law; Marguerite Petroelje; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 28, 2021, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th St. Holland with Pastor Dan Walcott officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Holland Christian Schools and Hospice of Holland.
