Reatha Brink Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Reatha Brink, age 84, of Zeeland, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. She was preceded in death by her son Bruce. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Andrew; children Chuck and Laurie Brink, Julie and Dennis Russcher, Sherry and Dr. Tad Boeve, Barbara Brink, Beth and Jack Timmer; 15 grandchildren, Ross and Lisa Brink, Kristin and Dr. Dan O’Callaghan, Terri and Dr. Luke VanderWeide, Tim and Melanie Russcher, Jeff and Lisa Russcher, Jeremy and Erin Russcher, Lewie and Shelby Russcher, Johanna and Hans Schubert, Elizabeth and Rev. Jacob Boyd, Katie and David Blank, Sam Boeve, Jessica and Levi Seif, Jolyn and Jacob Smallegan, Jenna Timmer, Jacob Timmer; 26 great grandchildren; in-laws, Marilyn Emelander, Rev. Al Bytwerk, Willard and Thelma Brink, Marge and Rev. Lloyd Wolters, Berdella and Ed Cooper, Nate and Marilyn Brink, Gloria and Curt Huyser, June Van Farowe, Pearl and Stan Vos; many nieces and nephews. Reatha was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She spent her life as a farmer’s wife and used her skills outside of the home to volunteer as a 4-H Leader and member of Drenthe Ladies Aid Society and Christian School Circle. Andy and Reatha also spent many years doing short-term mission trips to Honduras and Guatemala as well as monthly volunteers at the Christian Reformed Conference Grounds. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2022 at Drenthe Christian Reformed Church, 6344 Adams St. Zeeland, with Rev. Gary DeKoekKoek officiating. Burial will be in West Drenthe Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 27, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State St. Zeeland.
