    Sally Meyer

    September 30, 1964 - November 24, 2021

Sally Meyer, age 57, of Zeeland, passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully, at her home and into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Sally was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a peacemaker with a generous heart that cared deeply for all those around her. Her kind and gentle spirit was felt by everyone that she came in touch with. Words cannot describe the depth of loss that will be felt by her family and all those who knew her. Sally was born on September 30, 1964 to Arie and Harriet Spek. She married Chad Meyer on August 1, 1992. Sally lived in Zeeland all her life and for many years attended First Christian Reformed Church of Zeeland and most recently, Central Wesleyan Church of Holland. She attended Zeeland Christian Schools and graduated from Holland Cristian High School. Her faith was precious to her and evident in her daily walk-in life. She was employed by Subassembly Plus Inc. for nine years and deeply valued her connections with coworkers and friends. She will be remembered for her love of family and the simple joys in life: chocolate, car rides, summers on the boat, taking walks, listening to music, vacations, and all things Christmas. Sally was preceded in death by her father and mother Arie and Harriet Spek, brother-in-law Mark Wolters, and nephew Bradley Wolters. She is survived by her husband, Chad Meyer, children, Jordan Meyer (special friend Bri Kamps) and Kelsey Meyer, sister Nancy Wolters, brother Paul (Rachel) Spek, parents-in-law Frank and Sara Meyer, brother-in-law Chris (Shelly) Meyer; nieces and nephews Mike Wolters, Jennifer (Joe) Stevens, Josh Wolters, Jon (Heather) Spek, Nate (Vicky) Spek, Jenna Spek, and Dylan Meyer. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at First Christian Reformed Church, 15 S. Church St. Zeeland with Rev. Toby Gruppen officiating. Burial will be in Zeeland's Felch Street Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, November 29, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State St. Zeeland. Memorial contributions may be made to In Touch Ministries and Zeeland Christian School. To leave a condolence and more information, please visit www.yntemafh.com.
