Spencer Boeve, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at home. He is preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Clarissa and George Steggerda; sister and brother-in-law, Verna and Alvin VanRhee; brother and sister-in-law, Rolland and Alma Boeve; brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Donna Boeve, and sister, Rosalie Newhouse. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Boeve; son, Steve and Judy Boeve; daughter, Sheryl and Brian Quillian; son, Dave and Keri Boeve; grandchildren, Heather and Andy Priest; Spencer Boeve, Rachel Quillian, Jeremy (Allie Vruggink) Quillian; Sydney Quillian, Justin Boeve, Jacob Boeve, Ben Boeve, Laura Boeve; 1 great-grandchild on the way; brother-in-law, Dale Newhouse; brother, Earl and Nancy Boeve; brother, Calvin and Connie Boeve; sister, Beth Boeve; sister-in-law, Alma and Sidney Staal; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is 4:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Langeland Sterenberg Funeral Home 315 E. 16th St. Holland, MI 49423. A Memorial service is at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 7 at Christ Memorial Church Chapel, 595 Graafschap Rd. Holland, MI 49423. Please use entrance C & D. Burial to take place in Overisel Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Spencer's honor may be given to Hospice of Holland or Living Threads.
